The company was established in 1990.

In 1994 the decision was made to transfer all of the well-established average and settling agency business from associated companies to TIRCO Agencies AS.

Thereby, we achieved a concentration and specialisation in insurance surveys and services based on decades of experience with improved efficiency in the registering of agency agreements and principals’ requirements, instructions for surveys and reporting, and claims handling.

The re-organisation proved to be most successful.

Today the company is the appointed average agents in Norway for the majority of the insurance companies in the other Scandinavian countries as well as for a large number of cargo underwriters in Europe, North and South America, and Asia.

For the execution of commissions the company has experienced and qualified personnel and surveyors in the main and branch office.

We strategically located in Moss and Oslo giving us easy access to all ports in the area and industrial centres etc.

A network of local representatives gives full geographical coverage in Norway, and established relationships with product specialists, technical experts and lawyers are available in special cases.

The company has standard report forms used for various types of goods and surveys, which are easily modified in accordance with each principal's requirements.

Registering of claims is on an individual basis for each of our principals with facilities for immediate access to information for communication and reporting.
